I used to love when the Scholastic Book Fair came to my school.

Brb mom increased allowance to $2 (from $1).

Brb testing out fine mechanical pencils and erasers like a fine wine connoisseur.

Brb trying to invest my $2 wisely.

Brb jelly of the kid who brought $5.

Brb never touched the books not once...

(used to read Hardy Boys all night though. I have the original sets, published and bound in 1929. Used to read till 4AM, brb greasy fingers couldnt turn off my nightlight fast enough when parents came down to check on me, they got angry. never opened another book not once.

Anyone else play kinky schoolyard games? Had my pen0r licked by 3 girls in one recess in grade 2. one of those double dare things, only happened once.
