OP: Just did full panel STD test for new girl.

Was a little nervous waiting for results so I asked my doctor some questions. Like you, my only exposure to any of this **** was oral. I always wrap it because I don't want a fuarking kid with some random bish.

    The big bad:
HIV is not easy to catch, and we have been mislead as to that fact, which is probably a good thing. She would have to be off her meds, sick as fuark (aka she would seem to be under the weather to you), which would make her viral load high, your dick would need a cut, and she would need enough of the virus in her system to be in her mouth, which would be hard (before bros point out that HIV antibodies are in saliva, those aren't the virus itself). Also depends on your immune system, a number of other factors not worth mentioning, but basically, this is the one you should be mildly concerned with.

Other stuff my helpful doc taught me: Gonorrhea (extremely unlikely with just saliva, barely symptomatic in most men, and can be cured), herp-a-derp (if she has a cold sore/outbreak), syphilis (which is actually nearly non-existant in the first world these days, you tapping that under-the-bridge ass very often OP?), HPV (which you may very well already have... you ever have a wart, even as a kid, just on your finger? you have a strain of HPV), Hepatitis (if you haven't been vaccinated, wtf pls go to the doctor son. also very unlikely, but possible with oral), chlamydia (see: gonorrhea above, men win again, bishes get the worst of it), and trichomoniasis (again, women are fuarked here, bros not so much)

    cliffs:
-got full STD panel last week, clean as expected
-asked my doctor to ease my anxiety and teach me about STDs and how unlikely it was that i caught anything
-HIV harder to catch than we're told
-other diseases, just use your head, and some can be cured. If she has a cold sore on her lip, AVOID
-if you ever had a wart, even as a kid, you have HPV already.
-OP is a phaggot (sorry OP srs)

notsureiffukkinsrs. Some of you really need to research more. 98%??? That a typo or something?

The calculated risk of male to female transmission via vaginal sex is around 1/1000 (1 round, 1000 chambers). For female to male transmission its about half that chance (1/2000). Sht I even know a girl who got rawdogged by a HIV positive guy and she came out negative (srs).

Even taking it up the arse has around a 1/100 chance of transmission. Odds still way in your favour (no homo). The risks are massively exaggerated by your typical google search sites. Go to medhelp or somewhere and look up HH Handsfields posts. Dudes a leading specialist in HIV epidemiology.

Thats not to say you can go out sticking your dick in everything that walks, you're still putting that bullet in the chamber and there's always that chance. But dont start panicking that you're gonna die after banging some random sloot.

Receiving a blowjob is considered a really low risk activity. Infection is theoretically possible, but only because the mucosa at the back of her throat usually have open sores (it's normal for every individual, even healthy) so if you stick your dick down in her you might get in contact with her BLOOD.
Also, bleeding gums. Be sure she's not a skaghead.

In any case you need direct contact with blood to catch HIV.

I think it has never even been recorded in history an HIV transmission from oral sex. Plus it's rare she has HIV in the first place (usually it's blacks, junkies and phaggots). You will be fine as far as this is concerned.

Now, HSV is what I would really be concerned about.
Yes, it is possible for either partner to become infected with HIV through performing or receiving oral sex, though it is a less common mode of transmission than other sexual behaviors (anal and vaginal sex). There have been a few cases of HIV transmission from performing oral sex on a person infected with HIV. While no one knows exactly what the degree of risk is, evidence suggests that the risk is less than that of unprotected anal or vaginal sex.

If the person performing oral sex has HIV, blood from their mouth may enter the body of the person receiving oral sex through

    the lining of the urethra (the opening at the tip of the penis);
    the lining of the vagina or cervix;
the lining of the anus; or
directly into the body through small cuts or open sores.
    http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/resources/qa/transmission.htm

No..you don't need direct blood contact.

These body fluids have been shown to contain high concentrations of HIV:

    blood
    semen
    vaginal fluid
    breast milk
    other body fluids containing blood

The following are additional body fluids that may transmit the virus that health care workers may come into contact with:

fluid surrounding the brain and the spinal cord
    fluid surrounding bone joints
    fluid surrounding an unborn baby

So you think that when an HIV positive guy, drops an hiv positive load in a female, and it sits there in a nice warm, wet protein rich environment for hours that she's not extremely likely to catch the virus? Uh..ok.

Yes I confirm those numbers, they came up in two separate studies by the US and French department of health. I think you can find them even in wiki.

Basically AIDS has been used as a scarecrow to teach people about safe sex - that is still incredibly important because of all the other diseases and unwanted pregnancies. Considering the amount of people that still go rawdog with random, I think it was a good thing that the safe sex campaign mislead us.

While you should always be careful about blisters, you can get HSV even without any apparent outbreak. It's called asymptomatic shedding. The risk is much lower but it still exists.
Also, it's hard to check for herpes outbreak, especially in the genitals, because there's loads of skin defects/irritations/weird sh*t that are normal.
If you're shagging a random you are taking a risk, even with condom unfortunately.

The link you provided says the exact same thing I said. It talks about blood contact in the mouth.

Of course HIV is contained even in sperm, vaginal fluid, breast milk etc. When I said "you need contact with blood" I was referring to the risks OP has from receiving a blowjob, I wasn't talking generally.

Still, blood is almost always the main culprit. When you have vaginal sex the risk is that the friction will cause micro tears in her vagina and in your glans, thus allowing for direct blood contact. That's why anal is much more dangerous, because there's a lot more friction and a lot more damage.

Yes..the cdc is obviously crazy. Surely a 26 year old forum member knows way more than the government entity for disease information. You should tell them they need to pack up because you're taking over their position with your superior knowledge.

The CDC are known to have a much stricter view on this subject. But if you actually took the time to research actual studies, learn from people with actual experience in the field then you'll understand. I'm not gonna bother arguing with some paranoid hypo on a forum anymore. You can believe what you like it makes no difference to me. You said you can catch HIV from saliva, and with that you lost all credibility anyway lol. Im going to bed.
