    Question About Benching

I should be squeezing my shoulder blades back and together when barbell benching, regardless of what i lift for (powerlifting, etc.) right?

Squeezing them back makes me feel the bench press in my pecs/chest more which is good.

Another question: Do i do this on dumbbell benching too?

Thanks, will rep up for good answers when off recharge
