    Y3T - 9 week cycle or constant?

I've been reading up on this recently and even talk to some people in my gym about it. It looks good, and makes sense, but the BB.com videos say it's a 9 week cycle, repeating the 3 weeks 3 times. I know people who are currently bulking who have been on this for almost 18 weeks now and plan to stick to it until they cut. Is there any reason they shouldn't do that, or why Neil says 9 weeks? I've quizzed them and they said they're getting bigger, keeping quite lean and all their lifts are increasing. A bit puzzled.

As with any routine, you repeat the next cycle with more weight and any adjustments you feel you are competent enough to make.
It even says so in the write up on the website we are on:

"At the end of week three you go back to week 1, 2, 3 and then repeat again. You'll repeat this for three phases or a total of nine weeks. After nine weeks, you'll take 5-7 days off from training for recovery. At that point, you can start the Y3T process over again. "

Just like musikguy said, Y3t could pretty much be run indefinitely. Since the program ranges from heavy weight/low reps to lighter weight/high reps, you could keep doing it for a while imo. However it's always good to change up the exercises in your routine.
