- half a billion light years from Earth isn't very far, it's our asteroid belt
- needs more clarification in a later film, but did the engineer break himself up to create humans, in which case, all the genetic evidence for evolution is just ignored
- there can't be a "100% genetic match" between human and engineers, even parents and offspring aren't 100% genetic matches, brb being bulletproof and having enough strength to rip someone's head off
- you don't spend a trillion dollars on an expedition and have terrible precautions in place
- doing any significant physical activity after major surgery
