I know most people weigh themselves when they wake up. How much lighter are you in the morning compared to a night time weigh in after you've eaten, drank, worked out, etc.. throughout the day?
Is a 5 lb fluctuation a lot?

Weighing yourself in the morining and at night will crush your hopes and dreams for a successful cut in 2012.
Seriously though, 5 lbs. isn't bad. For me it depends on how much water I've been drinking.Misc Scotch Crew

Mine works the opposite way. I lose 2-5 lbs a day during the day. I do physical work outside all day and I weigh myself when I come home after work, before eating dinner. I usually drop 2 to 5 lbs during the day, depending on how hard I worked. That includes eating lunch and drinking water throughout the day.
Now, during the winter when I'm off, it goes the opposite way. I'm lighter during in the am compared to night. It's all about dehydration. In the winter I dry out over night sleeping in the dry forced air heat. During the summer I dry out while working during the day.
