    How much does your weight fluctuate from morning to night?

    I know most people weigh themselves when they wake up. How much lighter are you in the morning compared to a night time weigh in after you've eaten, drank, worked out, etc.. throughout the day?

    Is a 5 lb fluctuation a lot?

    Depends. Usually I'm about 5-6 lbs heavier by the night time and then in the morning I'm 3-5 lbs. lighter. It all depends on the person I'm guessing though.

    Seriously though, 5 lbs. isn't bad. For me it depends on how much water I've been drinking.

    Usually 2-5 lbs give or take. All depends on what and when you were eating day before. That's why its important to weigh in about once a week, same day, same fashion (like fasted or at night) to get a good read on how exactly your cut or bulk has been.

    Oddly enough, I weigh about 1-2lbs more in the morning, than I would at about 7-8PM after I've had my first IF meal. Dem slow bowel movements.

    Mine works the opposite way. I lose 2-5 lbs a day during the day. I do physical work outside all day and I weigh myself when I come home after work, before eating dinner. I usually drop 2 to 5 lbs during the day, depending on how hard I worked. That includes eating lunch and drinking water throughout the day.

    Now, during the winter when I'm off, it goes the opposite way. I'm lighter during in the am compared to night. It's all about dehydration. In the winter I dry out over night sleeping in the dry forced air heat. During the summer I dry out while working during the day.
