Haha the form nazis seem to hit a big old road block when confronted with yur physique because at the end of the day that is what matters. I find myself getting a bit sloppy with various rows lately as I am trying to really up the weight for my back development. I think what u say about experience and knowing your body and what works is absolutely true. There is definitely a distinction to be made between sloppy form and down right incorrect form. There are sometimes in the gym when I see form that is so bad that the movement is no longer working the target muscle. For example BB curls where the entire upper arm is being elevated so much that there is no longer any elbow flexion occuring... but that's a rant for another day.

Proper form has its place when it comes to lives with a proven track record of causing specific types of damage to the shoulders, back, knees etc if certain form breakdowns happen regularly (squat, any type of press etc)... however for most movements hypertrophy and performance, are not assisted by, and my even be hindered by textbook form.

Advice needed
Hey guys. I've been on a cut since March now. I've been cutting calories/carbs gradually and just added cardio to my routine this week (starting monday). My waist went down 0.5 inches (now it's 32; before 32.5) and according to the treadmill I burn around 175-250 calories (HIIT) after 15-20 minutes on the treadmill though I dunno how accurate the treadmills at my gym are. My only worry is that that may affect my cut by making me cut too many cals though it hasn't appeared to do so negatively yet. What's your opinion on the matter?
EDIT- Forgot to add that I've also decreased 2-3 lbs after a plateau of 3-4 weeks AFTER having added cardio.Last edited by humzah; 07-21-2012 at 02:00 AM.

^^ Just continue what you're doing and if you lose weight too fast, up the cals. If not continue as before

Killed my leg session earlier, felt damn good. My last rep I knocked out just as hard as my first, COME AT ME."The more I began to lift weights, the more I became addicted to the feeling of being bigger and stronger."

Been following your previous workout journals, absolutely crazy. Pushing yourself to a level/lifting weights that I didn't think were humanly possible!

ATTENTION BTK
I have been talking with Manu about expanding Bleed Time Krew and as he is currently out of town and busy, I would like to get your views on a couple of matters.
If a BTK website was going to be made, what would you like it to include? (services, give aways, donations, etc.)
If BTK apparel was going to be sold, what would you like to see being sold?
If BTK was to release videos, what would you guys like to see?
If we held a BTK challenge, what would you want it to be? What would the prize be? Etc.
The above are simply ideas and I ask all of you to please not bombard Manu with lots of messages. Just post your answers here or message me. The goal is to expand Bleed Time Krew and we are just thinking of ways of doing so! Thanks!
In the mean time...KILL IT IN THE GYM!!!advertising not permitted

Pretty much that, in the training article section suggested training for beginners (finally the template in one solid place to be referenced, intermediates, and on.
Motivational quote section maybe. And how can hats not be suggested, Manu seems to be wearing one all the time.Alan Aragon: http://www.alanaragonblog.com/2009/11/22/wisdom-wisecracks

Just trying to preach the BTK like everyone one of you in here. Manu gave me the opportunity to join, so therefore I have to practice what i preach and bring my best every single day i am in the gym and look to improve on the past.
Another trait of being a competitive bodybuilder.

Oh and an online petition for manu or BTK brand to get it's own B&J ice cream, we can even vote for what should go in it, and a new motivational quote under each lid. You know you'd all buy that. I think I've said it before, Manu can be the Jarod of B&J's
