    Spicing up FROZEN vegetables!

Im on a cut right now and on 2 of my meals i'm switching out the carbs (rice, beans, bread etc.) and replacing them with frozen vegetables. I don't buy vegetables fresh, only frozen. The problem I'm having is that frozen vegetables get boring pretty fast.

So what is everyones favorite way to spice/prepare your frozen veggies? Keep in ming this is for a cut so preferably low calorie suggestions please.

    Thanks!!!!!!!!

This isn't really much for spicing it up, but I will have a bowl of ~20 carbs worth of mixed frozen veggies with 1.5-2 tablespoons of real butter and then some salt. I get frozen veggies with nothing else added. I'll be interested in seeing other replies as I too have been wondering what kind of spices might go well with this.

I put garlic salt, pepper, franks red hot sauce on everything. Also lots of walden farms dressings and sauces. Oh and there is nothing wrong with sodium to anybody reading lol.

I keep a ton of seasoning blends around for my veggies; Italian, Spicy Jerk, Asian, Fajita, etc. I also keep things like soy sauce, sriracha, dijon mustard, salsa, low fat cheeses, pre-cooked bacon crumbles and A1 Sauce on hand. Just a bit of any of those things adds a lot of flavor and personality to veggies.

    Just play around with it!

Do you want to cook them? If not, the best way is to blend them with water and drink them. I usually put in frozen carrots, cucumber, and tomatoes.

Salt. Pepper. Garlic powder. Franks/any other hot sauce. Mustard. Cheese. Mix into can of soup. Toss with olive oil. Really a lot of possibilities.

I love salsa. Put a tablespoon or two of it on top of a bowl of cooked veggies and my toes curl in delight.

I put Sriracha on pretty much everything. If for some reason I'm tired of that I also have several different McCormicks spice mixes that I'll throw on my veggies.

Also, good ol' salt and pepper make them much better (though I only really like freshly ground salt/pepper).
