I am currently on a PSMF diet - have been on for a week and lost about 10 lbs - I am guessing that most of this is water weight - I had my first refeed at the weekend - weight shot up by 3 lbs then back down.
Anyways I am trying to work out my BMR (using a couple of online calculators) but seem to be getting different results. One site worked it out at 1790 Calories per day another worked it out at 2083.
My current calorie intake is between 800 - 1000 calories per day - most of it coming from protein - the only carbs I am getting are from vegetable which I know dont really get counted - my total daily carb intake is probably around 10 - 15g and this is all from vegetables (mushrooms, peppers, lettuce, spinach, onion - these are the only ones i am using).
I am currently working out 3 times a week - 20 mins of light cardio followed by a light weights workout.
Using a few other calculators I found online and it worked out my BMR (with the 3 weekly workouts)at 2600 cals -I am quite confused about what is actually my BMR. is there anyone who can help me work this out?
thanks for the help.

BMR does not include any activity. http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm choose basal metabolic rate in the drop down. This is the amount you burn w/o any added activity. There's really no reason to go below it (unless you're doing a silly crash diet like a psmf).
da fuq are you doing a silly crash diet like a psmf for? you ain't obese.

apologies i should add some background in,.
I am currently 5'6 - was 172 lbs when i started this - was at 162 as of this morning. My BMI classifies me as obese and my BF is probably around 25%.
I may have made a mistake on the carb intake - it may be a little higher - however just to put things into context i normally have about 3/4 handfulls of the veggies I have mentioned above combined.
