Well, neither of the two are compliant however in the case of "methylsynephrine" it's either the real deal i.e. oxilofrine....
Or it's merely beta-O-methylsynephrine [which is found in nature, but void of CNS/lipolytic value].
Nonetheless, if it's oxilofrine.... let me know so I can warn my health care provider.~

Beta-O-Methylsynephrine is found in plants of the Rutaceae family as well as Acacia Rigidula. However, there are other rather promising compounds in Acacia Rigidula when it comes to generating stimulant activity.
Oxilofrine is also rather safe and well-tolerated. Hell, it even drops diastolic blood pressure, and the "worst" response to a single 120mg dose was a 13% rise in systolic blood pressure. No alterations in pulse.
Having personally experimented with a variety of caffeine + acacia rigidula products during the period following the ban of ephedrine, I can say with confidence that certain constituents of Acacia Rigidula produce a stimulant effect.

Indeed. As well as the Coryphantha greenwoodii & the Dolichothele species.
Indeed. This is a well-known trait of Acacia r.
The clinical efficacy of oxilofrine was never in question, but how it was available as a dietary supplement for so long.... I dunno, but with the more recent addition of betaphrine to the OTC fat loss category, I'm beginning to think anything goes.~

Well let me put it this way: Look at the topical fat burners sold as cosmetics. Look at the continued production of racetams. Look at certain AI ingredients.
DSHEA compliance is violated left and right. The more pertinent question to myself, the consumer, is whether or not the product is safe. Unless I'm the owner of a competing company, I couldn't care less about whether or not an ingredient is DSHEA compliant as long as it a) works and b) is safe.

I contacted someone yesterday and awaiting a reply to see if anything has actually changed since the letter the FDA posted to Syntech (no supplements/brands were named, just the ingredient). I doubt anything's changed but verification is nice.

What if your name was Troy Stram, and you were the Team triathlon captain at Penn State, and your urine sample was unexpectedly flagged positive for oxilofrine doping? --> I'd bet your stance on DSHEA compliance would be much different at that point.

So Methyl Synephrine versus Ephedrine versus Yohimbine mixed with caffeine? which is the BEST?
Im currently on ephedrine+caffeine, and this stuff is amazing, and CHEAP. I have Yohimbine but stopped using it with EC when i heard its dangerous and counterproductive.Check out my website http://www.yogavidz.com/
