Roughly 50-65% of all views are actually monetizeable. If your video has 5000 views, you only actually have 2000-3500 monetizeable views that are even shown ads.

CPM depends on the countries of origin your users/video viewers are from, your video content/what its related to (some keywords pay much more than others), and more.


Established channels with unique content, lots of subscribers and a whole lot of views already can get in contact with YouTube and they work out a better deal to sweeten up the money in hopes you will continue to keep producing quality content and getting millions of views to your videos.

If we trust this guy, use data from socialblade, the Hodge Twins, who have multiple channels, are making AT LEAST 5k per month on their twinmuscleworkout channel.
