I usually zone in on the hotties when doing cardio, especially if sports center is talking about nascar or soccer or some other dumb thing i don't care about. however good looking men at the gym when I go are too few and far between but it's probably better that way I don't want to fall off the stairmill because I'm not paying attention

That's how I would look at it, extra motivation. While I go to the gym when I can because I don't have the same equiptment at home, it never hurts to have something good to look at in the room. If some hot guy comes and sits next to me I'm definitely not going to be tempted to slack. I work on my fitness for myself, not anybody else. If a hot girl shows up at the gym and is taking her workout seriously and not paying any attention to you are you still going to notice her? You may not be wanting to get her full attention or talk to her, but you can't say you don't notice and enjoy the view a little!

It depends on the person.

I don't usually go to gym with my glasses on so I try to keep my head down and keep to myself. When people are close enough I look at their bodies, always looking at their build and shape etc. [sort of wonder about their genetics and age and diet and their life in general] not really their faces too much and I don't make eye contact - I'd rather them not think I'm "checking them out". I'm stupid shy.

I get really nervous when a guy gyms right next to me though - especially when every place else is open. I don't even register what the guy looks like, I just get self conscious.
Most of the time I'm just trying not to get noticed and hoping people don't look at me or approach me - which they always do though, my BF is really popular there and trainers and his friends always come up to chat to me or help me out.

I know girls that won't even go to gym because guys make them so nervous. I know girls that go there just to socialize with the men.

Huh... I definitely did a whole lot of creeping when I used to slave over hours of mindless cardio, but now that I'm actually lifting, I'm much more interested in checking out my own [baby]muscles and [amateur]form than the guys around.

I don't get in front of anyone in the mirror. I move over if I have to but I never get in front of anyone. Someone does it to me they can expect a donkey kick to the ass and they will be french kissing that mirror. Just rude and disrespectful. Most likely she was slutting it up as you say
