    How many push-ups can YOU do?

    I can do 100. 2 months ago I could do 70 :P. (This is with correct form and going down all the way, I don't cheat myself).

    So how many do you think you could do :O?

    I generally stop once I reach 60 under the 2 mins(Well, that's was the main goal during my fitness meets for a perfect 100 score), but I'm pretty sure that I could do a few more.

    I do 65 before I have to stop to rest for 10 seconds or so. (Belly doesnt touch the ground, butt doesnt raise up. I just dont do a rep)

    As for time I dont really know. That one rest is all I do though^

    Well, progressive overload is how you advance in terms of strength and muscle.
    Hard to do that w/ pushups.

    Only reason I do pushups is cause I have severe gyno and so the help get rid of them, I usually do 100 in a row, but that's only cAuse I do pushups everyday pretty much

    Yes, but I don't think anyone would do pushups for strength. I believe they should be used as a warm-up/exhaustion tool. I know they hurt my shoulders much less than barbell bench pressing. I feel like it's less of an isolation exercise because you have to use quite a few muscles to stabilize. This is what makes it a great warm-up.

    Lol at these people saying push ups dont do anything. A friend of mine has never lifted a weight in his life and looks more swole than just about everyone in here. I took him into the weight room at school one day and he benched 260 first time ever lifting. His secret? Pushups every night.

    My friend could probably beat your friend up. Hes tougher and stronger cos he does pushups AND situps every night. First time he benched 300. watta sikunt
