Heres a worthwhile one. What is the best protein powder? in your opinion. And before you do the "oh all protein is the same" no it's not. Some is faster acting, obviously casin and whey. egg, etc.
But my main point is. i'm sure we've all tried cheap crappy protein thats made us want to throw up.
Overall what do you think is the best bang for your buck protein powder? good quality and actually worth spending money on.
I was reading an article earlier and it made me wonder about this.

The absorption rates REALLY do not matter. The main difference between types of protein is the amino content.
That being said I love Iforce Protean, TNS Trutein.
I would say best bang for your buck would be Trutein. Its kinda pricey but you know exactly what your getting. Also Dymatize make some quality cost efficient proteins.

Just get a cheap one. No need to fuel the fire of overcharging supplement companies. I buy Cytosport 100% Whey in a 6 lb bag for $38. Can't beat that.

Do not need fast acting protein post workout and casein before bed. This is all based on broscience that your body goes catabolic without the appropriate body protein. If you are worried about protein absorption so much then go with a blend that can be taken post workout(whey) and before bed(casein). Dymatize Elite XT is the cheapest. There is also Myofusion Probiotic Series if you want that. Do not think that more expensive protein means it is better. This is what supplement companies would want you to believe.

I used Allmax Nutritions Isoflex it is pricey but it is really good on the taste and profile, I used ON Gold Standard its a good one and i am currently using myofusion the taste is good but it has slow digesting proteins also

I use ON %100 Whey and casein. Post and before bed. The taste of both is so-so but i blend them with 1/2 cup milk and a small banana for flavor.
I this lifetime you dont have to prove nothing to nobody except yourself, and after what you have gone through, if you havent figured that out by now, its never gonna happen.

Giant sports delicious protein. One of the guys who was apart of Myofusion went off and did his own thing and made this. The cookies and cream tastes exactly like an Oreo and is better than muscle Pharos cnc!

the best protein powder is low in carbs, and fats (unless you are wanting high carbs) and high in Branch chain amino acids, and glutamine.
