    Cycling off caffeine.

    Is there ever a need to cycle off caffeine such as guarana or caffeine anhydrous? I am currently taking guarana for god knows how long...

    idk what guarana is but for caffeine I think it would be smart to cycle off and give your receptors a break, but slowly tapper off so you don't suffer from caff withdrawl, if uve been on it for verry long then you prolly will stillbgt headaces after you start tappering it off but its only for a while... Its worth it cuz once you get back on it, the effects will be as good as the first time you ever took it

    Agree with above. I am very dependent on caffeine when it comes to pre workouts. I get really bad headaches if i dont have caffeine for 2 days straight! what helps me the most now is when i am done using a stimulant pre workout i wait a week before starting a new one. Helps get the effect for the next pre to be better than if i just went straight to it.

    I believe the general consensus is to take a 2-4 week break from ALL stimulants (Caffeine, Yohimbine, 1,3 DMAA, etc) every ~12 weeks
    I tend to just do a break every 5-6 months as I try to take 2 days off from stims per week, every week.

    I try to take a month off here and there. I notice my sleep is better around then. its hard to do though
