I've only bumped into them a couple of times. Once when my house got robbed, they basically said there wasn't much that they could do. Kind of assumed this already, was like f/e.
The other time was when I got pulled over-I'd lost my licence (as in the physical card) a couple of weeks before and he took down my details but didn't give me a ticket. Was cool about it. Wasn't pulled over for speeding, just a random stop.
Has anyone actually witnessed this police brutality we're always hearing about first hand, and if so pls explain.
Please keep the stories relevant to yourself and not your acquaintances etc. Also no discussion of any recent news events please, wouldn't like this thread to get locked. And try not to argue with each other unless you really really have to.

Only time ive had encounters with police is when I was doing something stupid.
1. 'Ran away' from home as a kid. Actually it was at a lake, and because of IL if the police are called in that situation you automatically get probation thing.
2. Ran a redish yellow light. Let go with a warning (state trooper).
3. Pulled over by MPs for speeding. Ticket issued.

100% pleasant for me.
Got jumped by three guys a few years back, got my chit kicked in ten ways from Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Cops busted them within ten minutes, took care of my case real fking good.
Been caught having sex in a car twice. Both times they gave me a 'warning' to not do it again. I really won't anymore, that luck is pretty much used up.
Got pulled over for the first time ever last summer for speeding. Cop looked into my record, saw I had never been stopped before - let me go with a warning.
One time my buddies and I were chilling behind a store waiting for a friend, cop came up to us to see what we were doing (did look suspicious for sure). We explained, he asked if we had anything on us. My buddy panicked and admitted to having 3 ounces of weed. I was scared as fk, had no idea. The cop took it, hit him over the head with the bag, and left. Luuuuuuuucky!

House sitting for a friend,
Sleeping in house
House broken into
Wake up to car stollen
Cops show up
Sry can't help
Smash ******* neighbors trash can because we had an issue at the time
Cop shows up, tells me there's nothing he can arrest me for but he's at my house at 4am to tell me if I keep up this behavior I will eventually be arrested.
Told him to go arrest that ******* for street racing everyday and sucking his own cawk then told him to get off my property. I was a minor that's why he couldn't arrest me.
See same cop when I'm out with friends. He forces me to go home or be arrested for no reason. Literally no reason, I was in a group of people and he only made me go home.
Neighbors houses get robbed.
See suspicious vehicle cruising my neighborhood every night for 2 weeks around 1-2am
Tell police about suspicious activity around houses which have been robbed multiple times recently
Sry can't help
Ok I'm going to shoot anyone who enters my home during an invasion
No don't do that
Ok then you need to do something
Sry can't help
Maybe I am the one in the wrong but I think these specific police are garbage but the majority are excellent people

Cliffs on my story:
-Wife is hormonal and pregnant with our first kid.
-Wife gets mad at me for having drinks with friends after work. (I had 4 beers, so not drunk at all)
-She proceeds to physically attack me and won't stop.
-I call 911 and ask for some help (stupid on my part)
-Cops come in and immediately ask her what's going on (her side of story).
-I butt in the conversation and let them know I called and tried to tell them why when...
-Cop proceeds to grab me by my shirt, throws me up against a wall, gets in my face and tells me "I'm the man in this house right now, not you so shut the phuck up"
-Cop proceeds to bait me into hitting/fighting with him etc.
-Asks my wife if she wants me taken away and he would take care of me.
-Wife tells them all is okay and to leave.
-Cop proceeds to tell her "He has short man syndrome, we see it all the time. Call us if you need us and we will take care of things."
-Note to self that cops cannot be trusted, now wife beats me on a regular basis.Last edited by axxhole; 12-01-2014 at 12:22 PM. Reason: details

Nah, not really. Then again, I've never really had many encounters with cops. All of my encounters were neutral.
But I remember once a house party was shut down before my friends and I got there and we asked one of the cops if we could go back in. He was acting kind of like a dick so we just said all right and walked off. No point in escalating **** when it's not needed.

Yea was playing pickup soccer in NYC. Some douche calls the cops saying that people are fighting. 3 cops show up, shouting at everyone to "get the **** off the field". Someone kicks the ball into the goal in frustration. Startles a cop and he draws his gun and starts screaming at the guy to get on the ground. The other cops draw their guns and we all have to get on the floor while they pat us down(in phucking athletic t shirt and shorts lol). We pretty much leave the field at gunpoint even though we didnt do anything. Cops of peace in NYC.

Yup.
Cop was questioning my friend about a few grams of weed and saying chit like he could go to jail for being a dealer with this amount and being a dick so i started recording what he was saying with my phone so if it did go to court the cops couldnt lie about anything.
Cop sees me recording and tells me i have 5 seconds to turn it off before he smashes the phone and takes me downtown for "interfering" in a police investigation.
I put my phone away and the cop ended up just dumping the weed in the ocean and leaving. Pisses me off because we have a right to record what they do in public - if they arent doing anything wrong they should have no issues being recorded yet they get away abusing their power and preventing people from doing so because most of the time its waaaay easier to just comply with their orders than stand up for your rights as chitty as that sounds.
They can ruin your night or make your life a living hell at the snap of their fingers and some of them arent afraid to let you know.Gary Johnson
