Im on bb ss, and i just cant seem to increase my deadlift... even at a surplus.

I increase more weight on my squat than my deadlift...

Ive been stuck at 265 pounds for like a month now, the max i got was 3 reps..\

Don't deload that much, maybe just to like 240 or so and move up from there but make sure you're in a surplus!

Change grip. Using from double overhand to mixed grips increased my DL from 90kg to 127kg. Then, I deloaded back to 117kg so I can get 129.5kg lol.

i do have a mixed grip in this video, with double overhand i can only do 225. Maybe i just have weak grip or because i really have small hands

    Same prob at 295.

Just reset after each rep so you can have better grip, just don't take 30 seconds or more in between reps, it's still considered a set.

Dat dere chalk, bruh. And when you're lifting even if it doesn't feel like it's leaving the ground at first, don't give up on the lift. Obviously don't stuff your back up but don't give up if you don't feel the weight immediately budging either.

Whenever i get stuck with a lift, i go to high reps lower weight for a week or two for that body part, that seems to work for me, can try it, i always go for 15-20 reps 2-4 sets per exercise

If its a grip issue just keep trying, your grip will improve.

Also, lean back, keep your shoulders back.

Make sure to add some more back volume, do the cable rows. Your upper back has the strength of a baby fart.

    Kick those shoes off.

    Stretch your hip flexors.

Set yourself tighter, chest up, just get 'tight' you look like a flaccid penis.

No touch and go. Deload and reset yourself between reps.

thanks for the advice, will do. Also do you think i should try rack pulls? I add in BB rows and do some cable rows. My Rows are steadily increasing so in time it will get better

maybe less sets before u hit the 265 and up. focus some energy, get that butt down and explode up!

kroc rows help with grip strength and lockout.

I cant believe no1 has asked OP how many reps he does per set, how many sets he does, etc.

Although Babylover's post seems like a joke, he's pretty much dead on. The only thing I would add is to make sure you do sets of 3.

only thing you need is to just have double overhand grip..sure you cant pull as much but your less likely to round back and forearms get worked alot more.... I was at 225 struggling to hold it but after a week or two your numbers will improve... when i first started i used a mixed grip but noticed that i had more back pain also

I would just do the Ortamayer routine search it on here, DL the spradsheet and input your stats. It worked wonders for me although i aren't following any SS programmes or owt.
