well duh... i have friends who graduate ahead of me and have a hard time finding work so i know that very well, the difference is their job isn't in demand. I actually get emails from companies wanting to hire new geologist for mudlogging, and im not even a graduate yet. Granted its a **** job but at least there are jobs available.

geophysics and chemistry is pretty challenging, these are the kind of things that you have to be pretty dedicated into. If you are looking to be a baller look into petroleum or hydrology, they are more practical majors and you're prob gonna end up focusing on those, good luck.

Yeah....that's all incredibly dull.

some of the wellsite geos ive been working alongside are on 1-1.5k per day (AUD) and get to travel around the world.
one geo bought 60k in shares in buru energy because he was working for them and he knew alot of their wells would produce and the shares went from .22 to 2.98 in like 1 year. stroing insider knowledge
