Obviously its memorial day weekend and I went to a cook out. I ended up stuffing my face and eating everything...and I mean a lot. I keep a low carb diet every day and exceeded it by far. I also had a ton of sugar because the foods... How bad will this hurt me?

Don't do anything to try and compensate for it the cheat. It will get you in the mind frame that if you do cheat that you can just make up for it later which is not the case. At 9 weeks out it won't have any effect on you for you're show, ONLY if you don't do it repeatedly and if you don't let it stress you out. If you spend a lot of time stressing on it it will only raise cortisol levels will make it harder to get lean and loose fat. The cheat has already been done, use the fuel for energy, train hard and get back into routine, you'll be fine

PumpingIron, it won't hurt you nearly as bad as you think it would, although 2 days of binge eating would be detrimental to your gains. From the research I have done it shows that carbs are mainly stored as energy for the first 24 hours of loading, after 24 hours your body starts storing the energy as fat, so I wouldn't be too worried about it.. You may just look extremely spilled over but research shows that it isn't NEARLY as bad as two days of binging, peace!

Just think of it like this, the ones your competing against want you to cheat all the time. Stick to it man, don't be asking yourself did I do all that I could do and is this as lean as I could have got. 9 weeks still, I didn't start really craving junk food until about 4 weeks, so it doesn't get easier. Keep killing it and keep your eyes on the prize

I would say just get back on your diet,
2 weeks out from my show I did an insane reefed! arnold classic protein bars and protein shots samples
Probally 500 grams of protein 1500 carbs 250 fat
Whoopitskevin, can prove this true as well,
And I had the best workout of my life, and tightened up, I was also a little closer to the show, but I wouldn't do it again, Stomach was off, constantly in the bathroom for following 2 days, so idk, but I wouldn't do it again, But if your going to cheat better to do it far out rather then closeTrying to improve day in and day out.

Consider it a re-feed and move on...at 9 weeks out you are still in a good place---just don't make it a habit unless it is a part of your plan.

don't worry...you have to know your body, thats all...i have cheat meals every sunday, but no more after 2 weeks out....after cheat meal i normally have protein diet, it depends how close to contest...but you have a lot of time...
in the end...we are just people...if you wish to eat something then you simply afford it...but you have to know how often...
best regards!
