    Anyone eat COLD steamed vegetables?

I like the idea of steaming vegeatables but they come in larger sized bags in the freezer section. Last thing I'd want to do is reheat it again in the microwave to lose nutrients. Anyone ever try eating them cold out of the refrigerator after you previously steamed them. Theys aints so badz.

Nearly every day. I steam my veggies and put 'em in a tuppaware with my chickens or steaks. ANd eat it after its been in a fridge for a few hours.

With a tad bit of olive oil + vinegar (the basis of a dressing), cold steamed veggies are great. Throw in rice and chicken and you have a meal!

Personally prefer mine steaming hot. OP, as they are frozen, why can't you just steam what you need?

    This.

What's wrong with just cooking the amount you plan on eating for that meal?

What is this for dark wizardry, bringing those threads back from the dead.

Anyways i recently been eating about a kilogram of vegetables a day and sometimes i cant completely eat the whole meal so i have to continue when they are cold and it doesnt taste that bad honestly. I know those huge sized bags i eat one per day and its cool its broccoli and Cauliflower and those taste ok when cold but the carrots are fúcking awful.

    Hmmmmm vegetables.
