Accidentally? If someone comes into my house uninvited, I am on purpose murdering them.

Here in Texas not a damn thing would happen to you, if a person breaks into your house in texas wether they have a weapon or not I can shoot and kill him out of self defense, i only wish someone would break into my house so i finally get to put hollow points in somebody.

If you need to kill someone in your house, you must have a good reason to do so, AKA threatoning you life or your families. I consider almost anyone who breaks in my house a threat to my life.
I mean really, are you really gonna stop an ask them to leave politly, giving up any element of suprise and potentially get yourself killed? No.
Ill end the threat instantly so there is 0% chance of any of my family is harmed or killed.

Self defense= equal or lesser force. I'd imagine that there'd be some complications if someone broke into your house and you shot them multiple times and it turns out they weren't even armed.

I don't agree with this and don't believe the law does either.
If an intruder runs up to you and punches you in your own house, you can grab a metal bar and defend yourself, no problems.
In fact, you can strike first in self defence, that is not equal force.
The term is 'reasonable force'."Testosterone levels peak during a man's late 20's but decline soon after, decreasing about 1.5 percent per year after age 30. "

This. Idk why we would have it any different. Someone breaks into your home/business/car = you can kill them, no questions asked. Same should apply for someone who tries to fight you IMO. If someone tries to hit me I should be able to whip out my pistol/knife and stop him from potentially harming me.

Depends on state law. IIRC, in Cali you have to be in a reasonable fear for your life or the life of others. If you have an easy escape route that would not lead with you being hurt, it would be better to use that in Cali. But if you fear for your life and can detail why that fear was real, then you won't go to jail. Don't talk to the police after shooting someone until you get a lawyer.

This...in SC you will get a pat on the back and well wishes from the cops. In other states you could simply argue that he went for his gun, who else is there to give definitive evidence he didnt? People with no idea about the justice system screw themselves by talking to LEO before talking with a lawyer. Im far from a cop hater to, thats just how it is sometimes, they are there to do their jobs by their protocols. People have to remember they deal with the scum of the earth day in and day out, obviously they will be apprehensive.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_doctrine
" An intruder must be making (or have made) an attempt to unlawfully or forcibly enter an occupied residence, business or vehicle.
The intruder must be acting illegally—for example, the Castle Doctrine does not give the right to use force against officers of the law acting in the course of their legal duties.
The occupant(s) of the home must reasonably believe the intruder intends to inflict serious bodily harm or death upon an occupant of the home.
Additionally, some states apply the Castle Doctrine if the occupant(s) of the home reasonably believe the intruder intends to commit a lesser felony such as arson or burglary.
The occupant(s) of the home must not have provoked or instigated an intrusion, or provoked or instigated an intruder to threaten or use deadly force.
"
"Castle laws" remove the duty to retreat before using deadly force when you are in your home or in some states just simply where you can legally be."

I live in Washington state. Sh!t is perrrdy liberal here, but self-defense laws are very clear cut. Not a lot of people get in trouble up here for defending themselves, especially inside their homes.
If a guy breaks into my house with a deadly weapon, I could knock him out, wrap him up in plastic, put him in the shower and then kill him, and probably not get prosecuted, ROFL.

Unfortunately yes if you have a ****ty lawyer, god dam global elite always wanna try and keep everyone afraid of literally everything. This is just a nation of fear now.
I mean seriously imagine if an unarmed robber broke into any billionare's house, and got shot dead for it. Would thier be any repercussions? I think not.

Believe me i wish it wasn't true. Houses in the area i live in are target for home invasions and i'd like nothing more than to set up traps around my perimeter and be able to shoot anyone on sight.
I think 2-3 years ago a store owner caught a man stealing flowers (yes really...flowers) and he apprehended him, tied him up and waited for the cops to come and the cops ultimately arrested the store owner too. The public went nuts about this and it was all over the news...making our laws look like garbage so i think the laws are a bit different now (2012) but i'm not too sure about the details but i can guarantee you we can't stab an intruder =(
