    You need to completely start over. Your setup is awful. Your feet need to point out more for sumo. Your shoulders never get behind the bar and that will lead to snap city. Watch some tutorials ASAP.

    Agree on the shoulders, as noted. I physically can not get them back at this moment, but that is improving all the time. Will point toes out more next time & see how it feels.

    Someone has said this to me before. Gonna try more of a pure sumo stance next time & see how I fare.

    Edit: just tried opening stance up more and pointing toes, and it does allow me to sit back more. Shoulders were behind/level with the bar(obviously couldnt see on myself), shins more upright & no pain from my hips. Will be trying it on Monday with some weight & see how it goes.

    Yes, and unsure currently. Haven't had a scan yet. I study sports therapy at university so tutors have looked at it etc & tried conservative treatment to sort out biomechanical issues, but no use yet. Gonna get a scan on it soon I think.

    Attempted to sort my deadlift based on feedback from previous video. Opened stance up, toes pointing out more (~40 degrees) and sat back more. Feel my shoulders are in a much better position. Open to any & all criticism. But please no comments to watch tutorials, I must have watched everyone one going. If this form isn't right, I may have to go back to rack pulls until I can get my hips sorted as I feel this is the only part holding me back.

    This doesn't seem bad to me. It kind of looks like your purposely making yourself squat down a few inches more than you would feel comfortable had you not been repeatedly told to do so, but if that feels natural I'd say your set.

    Thanks for feedback. I would say after a few weeks since I posted this it feels more natural now, and I don't think I squat down as much as I did in this video. I feel like I am set, at least for the time being.
