    Am I progressing slowly?

Just started being dedicated to working out in November using my Uni's gym and have been somewhat consistent since then. I started off doing FB workouts b/c I thought I'd need to build overall body strength first before doing split days (was ignorant of compound lifts). I started getting more focused and serious with it after New Year's, and here's how my numbers have changed since then.

    November

    Pullups - 5x2
    Single Arm Row - 35lbs 10x2
    DB Curls - 25lbs 10x2
    BB Curl - 55lbs 10x2

    Flat DB Press - 25lbs 10x2
    Overhead Tricep Extension - 25lbs 10x2
    Upright Row - 60lbs 8x2

    Squat - 95lbs 10x2
    DL - 135lbs 10x2
    Calf Raise (machine) - 187lbs 10x3

    May

    Pullups - 10lbs 10x2
    DB Curl - 45lbs 5x2
    Single Arm Row - 70lbs 7x2
    BB Curl - 75lbs 10x2

    Flat DB Press - 50lbs 5x2
    Overhead Tricep Ext. - 45lbs 6x2
    Upright Row - 90lbs 8x2

    Squat - 165lbs 5x3
    DL - 225lbs 5x3
    Calf Raise (machine) - 315lbs 10x2

I'm 6'1 and started at only 145lbs with appr. 7% body fat. I'm only at 156lbs right now with the same BF% and want to be 165lbs+ at the end of summer. I'm mainly concerned about my upper body progress since that's where I lack. I did track in high school and worked my legs mainly, neglecting my upper body.

Any suggestions on what I can improve on/advice?

For a beginner I think your gains should be a little better. You need more compound exercises bro. Check out starting strength for a good beginner routine. Make sure you're eating enough to gain weight too. Good luck

EDIT: also your legs aren't way ahead of your upper body, so don't neglect them

Yeah I've been thinking about doing SS for a while now and I think I will since I'm looking mainly for strength increases.

Is that bad? I always thought pulling movement exercises would be stronger than pushing ones.

dont take this the wrong way but i think you just need to man up and try heavier weight on certain exercises. some of those shouldnt be close to one another
