Dear log,
Today I learned that dumbbell Romanian deadlifts are awesome. Thanks ErickStevens for the suggestion like a whole 15 pages back lol. See, I do read everyone's suggestions! I just might not get to it until a later time...anyway, still not ready to squat yet. I felt kind of risky doing the Romanian deads but they actually felt pretty good. I think I'll be good to actually deadlift again by the end of next week, hoping anyway. I would log today's session as lower power but ehh, yeah....

I had braces for a year, also had glasses, also made straight A's and followed the dress code. Guess what I got called? That's right, awesome! But yeah I didn't wear my retainer like I should have so my teeth shifted a bit. 11 years later I'm regretting it bad.
Good news: I overcame my fear of taking pills today. Took 4 capsules in a minute and it felt great. Ok this is weird but I feel like a bad assPatience, dedication, drive.

Me too, feel like such a knobhead now. Still don't have crooked teeth, but they aren't lovely and straight at the front any more. Every so often I'll force my retainer in and my mouth fills with blood, then I sleep with it and put it away again for months. Just so I don't feel like a total bert.

fuking LOL'd at bold. Niiiiiiice To be honest I used to do the same thing. I had a bad habit of grinding my teeth when I was younger, so my retainer started getting all beat up and had holes in it. I never got a new one so from time to time I would also force it on my teeth. Hurt like freakin' hell and made my gums sore but my teeth would go back into place....inb4 I'm gonna need dentures before I'm 50 from all this teeth shifting
Yes ma'am I sure did. Apparently I was saying ridiculous things right after the surgery. I kept telling all the assistants there how awesome they were and how I wanted to hug the surgeon because he did a good job. I was all like, "wow you guys are so good. I didn't even feel it! Why am I seeing double. Where are my teeth? Am I annoying you guys? Should I stop talking now?" lololol super srs. Everything went well and I'm sore and stuff but the medicine is helping a little. I'm starting to get puffy cheeksPatience, dedication, drive.

yay glad you are recovering. ice your cheeks too it makes it feel better. I would put hot packs on my sometimes too cause i was the biggest pansy in the world. luckily I had them done at 17-18 so my mum took care of me.
I woke up to them singing the song "Cecilia" and I remember trying to yell at them that my name is Cecille and NOT Cecilia but my mouth was packed with gauze so I couldn't talk

Ka0s asked me how I was feeling when we were driving home (I was half asleep) and apparently I said, "Chipotle? I love Chipotle!" Then I repeated 3 times, "Why am I the only one talking in this room?" We were still in the car. wtf lol
I definitely did the ice packs all day yesterday. Today I keep putting the heat packs on but I still look like a chipmunk. And lol at that story, yeah it's crazy how the anesthesia has that effect on you.Patience, dedication, drive.

Cheeks aren't puffy anymore but I have a bigger problem. So it's Monday, had the surgery first thing Thursday morning and I find out I have dry socket. Went to see the dentist today and he placed a medicated gauze in the socket, sh!t hurt so freakin' bad I wanted to cry. I keep it in for a couple days and then go back to have it removed
Ugh I would've gone into more detail about my dry socket but there are some pervs up in here know what I mean?Patience, dedication, drive.
