Thanks home skillet. I'm actually Hispanic, Italian, and Native American but all the nut miskkers seem to think I'm Mexican! Weird right? I mean, I'd actually have to be born in Mexico to be Mexican...they're so silly!

Dear log,
Did not increase the weight this week, but I was able to do more reps with the same weight as last week so I'm happy! I'm also super happy with the way my bench is progressing and OHP. Feels awesome. Not much else to say
Upper Body
Bench
85 x 5
95 x 5
105 x 1
110 x 3 x 2
105 x 5
BB Rows
120 x 5 x 3
125 x 5
OHP
70 x 5
75 x 5
85 x 3 whooo
80 x 5 x 2
BB Lying Tricep Extensions
40 x 5 x 4
Hammer Curls
30 x 6 x 3
DB Curls
25 x 8 x 3
CGBP
85 x 5
90 x 5
95 x 5 x 2 failed second set last time, got it this time
did 10 whatever reps with 65 just bc I felt like it
I think I will bulk to 160 then stop. Oh lawd I haven't been this weight in 2 years! Body composition was way different then though. Maybe, depending on how I feel, I may bulk to 165....I'm currently at 156. Geez when I started I was somewhere around 140 in AugustPatience, dedication, drive.

Dear log,
I am never lifting after midnight again. I gotta be at work in 5 hours fuuuuu. I took a long nap, 'bout 5 hours or so after I got home from work so I didn't get to the gym until close to 11 pm. Hopefully I'm not late to work! Anyway, so for the past 2-3 weeks I've been having trouble pulling heavy. I tried 250lbs two times today and failed both (sumo) and I'm wondering if this has anything to do with my squats increasing? Maybe my body is becoming tired too easily? I'm also lacking energy lately. This never happens to me! I'm always so hype especially on leg day. Don't know what's up but I'm wondering if I should just slowly build back up to 250 again and just keep trying to hit everything by 3 until I get there. Idk Check out my squat video! Look ok?
Lower Power
Squats
WU 95 x 10
135 x 5
145 x 5
155 x 5
170 x 3
185 x 1
155 x 3
Sumo
185 x 5
195 x 5
225 x 1 x 2
250 failed twice
205 x 3
185 x 5
Hip Thrusts
205 x 8
215 x 8
225 x 8 PR
Leg Extensions
125 x 12
130 x 12 pr
140 x 12 PR
RDL's
135 x 8
145 x 6 x 2
Good Mornings
75 x 8 x 3
Standing Calf Machine
135 x 10 x 3 itty bitty 5lb increase from last week
Idk how people do heavy RDL's and good mornings. It's too much strain on my back to go heavy on those :/
You curling 30's too? Mirin cuz. Yeah it makes me feel better being able to increase reps, that always means I can increase the weight the next week and probably do the same reps. Got your message, will do captain! Haha
Thanks Elliot! Better late than never I always say. Stronger than yesterday is right

A few things:
1. Start working on your setup. Every set should look the same: Take in some air, pop the bar off the rack, take one step backwards, then a second step, then set your feet and let your air out. You're doing the "Cat in the Litter Box" as I like to call it and moving way too much. The longer you're under the bar the more energy you expend.
2. The squat looked a bit high. Don't start sacrificing good technique for more weight. You're better than that!
3. Stop trying for maximum effort singles on the DL. Training is for building strength, not demonstrating it. It's time to start going for 2/3/5RMs instead. Capice?"Nutrition for powerlifting: If you are serious about it, you will eat f*cking everything and get strong as $hit." - HamburgerTrain

Understand completely. You callin' me a pussy on the slide cousin? Lol kidding. I know what you mean. I hesitate quite a bit and that's something I need to work on. Will continue to work on my squat form and the 2/3/5 sounds good. Sometimes I gotta tame those ego lifts! Thanks for all your input, really has helped a bunch

Dear log,
I like doing my DB rows at the same time bent over but my lower back was not feeling too good so I switched to doing them on the bench. I knew I would be able to get more weight up that way so I may continue to do them like that. It just takes double the time and energy! I'm wondering why my weight has not gone up in the past week especially after all that birthday cake I had last week. Oh well slow gains are better anyway! Slowly creepin' up to that 160.
Back & Shoulders
BB Rows
100 x 8 x 3
Seated DB Press
