I don't punch people in the face. I know how to control my temper. I would only get physically violent with someone if i felt I was truly in danger. Stupidity on display right here. It was a dark movie theatre and the movie was PG-13, he had no way of knowing how old the kid was and no reason to think he was 10 years old. Also, he just told these kids to quiet down and they laughed in his face, disrespect of that magnitude cannot be tolerated. Kind of happened to me before, was in the cinema watching some film with around 7 of my brahs and we were all scattered over the cinema. A 10 year old? As a parent, the guy was lucky it wasn't my kid and I wasn't sitting right next to him. (Granted, if I'm with my child, I make sure he behaves himself or I act accordingly.) I'm not a violent person, but if anyone ever lays a hand on my child with me nearby, there is no doubt the headline would read "Man in hospital after assaulting child."

The dude was in the wrong for other reasons. If the kid(s) were disruptive, he should have contacted a movie theater employee. It doesn't make you "manly" or "tough" to pick a fight OVER A STUPID MOVIE. Bare minimum, he'd be looking at a Class A misdemeanor here in Texas. Not sure if the 'victim' being a child increases it to anything else.

And I'm still baffled by the biggest question.... Who would go see Titanic 3D in the first place?
