I have 3 questions... What product do you use? Do you straighten the front? How long did it take for you to grow stubble like that? mirin hard (no homo)

1.. I use all redken products I use their max hold gel just on the top and blow dry that all dry then straighten the top a little if need be
2.. I don't straighten the front just the side of it my hair naturally kinda waves One way .. After its all blow dried reign the gell I use the redken wax just a finger tip and smear it on my hands then rough it through my hair and a little on the front to give it some weight so it don't move around lots
3.. That's 2 days stubble

Something like that u could achieve probably just blow dry and keep running your hand through out as you dry to get a little combover look going.. Use a light wax that isn't to greasy run a little through the hair for a little weight and texture

WTF do I do with my hair? I usually just leave it up, but it's getting a little too long to keep it spiked in the front. Looks pretty good on you, I think what you need to do is let the front grow out more so it doesnt look like it just dies on the non parted side. The aprted side is a pretty good length. you also might be putting too much pomade in it from that I see, hard to tell.

layer the top
cut the sides
fade the back

style:
blow dry your hair in opposite directions (first back, then front, repeat) (this will give you volume and you hair will stay up without product)
apply a little wax or grease and you're done
maybe add a little mouse if you lack volume

This is typically what I do with my hair. 2 on sides, 4 on top (blended), and then let it grow for 2-4 months. At the 3ish month mark it looks as good as it gets, but after ~2-3 more weeks it gets too long and unruly. I usually just blowdry the front up with a slight lean/taper toward to center.

I'm getting my hair cut tonight, and I don't know what to do. I was the sides thinner/shorter, and the top cleaned up a bit, but I'm afraid if I tell them that then I'll just look like a needle-head. FYI my hair is thick and very straight. Chin hair is gone now.

Any suggestions?
