Failing on weights...Need some advice please.

Im trying to jump up 2.5 Kg every week on my chest workout. For a start im 18, 175 pounds and 17.5 bodyfat.

For example Last week i did 10 reps of 72.5 kg on the bench, My incline dumbell press was 50 kg and the same for my pec flyes.

But today which is a week later nothing had improved. I could'nt get up the 75Kg. The incline was the same but felt abit easier and the pec flyes didnt feel easier. Could really use yere help?

You cant expect to go up that much every week, forever. work on increasing reps where youre at now. In a month, try to increase them again. My 1rm has been stuck at 2 plates for awhile now, buy ive increased my reps to 6 over the past month. Im gunna try a new 1rm in a few weeks. Rinse and repeat.

Cool man that's what i thought alright, my trainer told me to try and increase my exercises by 2.5 every week. I thought he was a bit crazy because for the first two weeks i was flying but then things started to fail and i was like seriously depressed. But thanks for that.
