128 oz = 1 gallon
2 gallons = 256 oz
8.33 calories per 8 oz (or roughly 1 calorie burned for 1 oz)
256 oz = 256 calories roughly (or 265.6 calories if you want to be precise)
where is 54 calories you got?
WOW failing even at your own calculations dude. Strong math, also strong do you even lift?

Brahs my jimmies are actually rustled right now.
I tried to do that poverty ass protein pancake recipe that was posted a few pages back. The one that is only egg whites + protein. Couldn't even take more than two bites out of it, ended up throwing it away. Texture was like styrofoam, no matter how much I chewed it wouldn't even disintegrate. Fukking pissed that I just wasted EIGHT FUKKING OUNCES of liquid eggwhites (basically half the carton) and two full scoops of protein on this poverty crap meal. And I also wasted all the Walden Farms syrup that I had poured on them. Fukking 84g of protein down the drain now I can't even hit my macros for the day. That's the first time a misc recipe fails me, feel like I got trolled super hard.
Cliffs:
- Protein pancakes came out like ass.
- Just eat real pancakes and hit your protein goals with other foods.Gentleman of Leisure

where are those comments you made before, about negligible calories burning or smth like that? 66 calories is negligible for you at 2 L?
and the hydration benefits?

Making up for high sodium/cals from last nights dinner with cardio and yardwork. Hoping I even back out to my weight from last week tomorrow and just try to catch up on my schedule. 1lb/week will put me at the end of my cut mid-July then recomp till August. I think I'm going to Electric Zoo end of August which means I need to look shredded for that as well. Anybody else goin to E-Zoo?

How important is it to take fish oil with ec stack? I'm about to take my 1st dose and don't have any fish oil currently. Taking 2 doses the next 2 days and then 3 doses from then on. Already took ec before twice

if all it took was drinking some ice water every day for people to just melt fat away i'm fairly certain it would be a much more heavily researched and preached.
yes, it's great for hydration but that's not even relevant to the actual conversation.
it's one thing to say something may help in fat loss but let's not act like this is some "magic pill" that everyone is missing out on.
i highly recommend it for the sake of potential BP issues.Gym PRs - S 400 / B 320 / D 500

Today is my cheat day and i have been enjoying it.
I'm still going to cut even though i will not be able to lift all this week because of my injuries.
So here's my plan I've decided.
Cut for 2-3 more weeks.
Clean bulk the rest of the summer. What you brahs think?
Also thanks for the motivation guys, i was in a depressed hole yesterday wishing i could lift this week. But then i realized the rest days are for the better and really what other choice do i have? May as well enjoy my week off.

no I understand, my bad I said "it will help big time", maybe you took it wrong thinking I was comparing it to magic pill. It sure won't do much if you don't have proper training & diet. But it is a nice add on. You gotta drink anyways right?
Might as well stay hydrated and drink plenty (cold/warm whatever you like, warm is easier for the heart etc). Each has its own benefits
I just thought I would share a tip on how to burn a little more calories by not doing much. Who would not want an extra 60-100 calories burned every day without much workLast edited by Otaman; 06-10-2012 at 02:34 PM.

BodPod
I believe it includes intra-organ fat as well (fat in between muscles/organs which is apparently different from visual bodyfat). If you want the more conventional measurement you can do hydrostatic testing (underwater) if there is a university/facility close to you with it.
Calipers are decently accurate, but the best way is to just continue to look on the forums at people discussing it and get a good eye for certain BF ranges. There's always variables if people store fat in different places so you should account for that as well.
A lot of people judge by the torso what their BF is but in all actuality there's also fat in legs, lower/upper back, etc that can make your estimation off by 1-2%.

If a place nearby does Bod Pod or underwater testing, those are the most accurate
If not, calipers and posting pics/looking online will help you estimate for yourselffollow me on IG @ampUP11

Yea getting fish oil tomorrow.
Another question for EC brahs:
How important is it to follow the dosing on this page?: http://www.hotnfit.com/ecstack.htm
Can I just do:
Today:1E,1C
Tomorrow: (1E,1C)x2
Tues: (1E,1C)x2
From then on: (1E,1C)x3 a day
Is it required to follow the dosing on that page, or would what I plan on doing have the same effect?

Quick bump:
TL;DR
- Gaining 0.64 lbs/week vs. 0.44 lbs/week when trying to lean bulk
- Would there be a noticeable fat gain with such small difference?
Yeah, that sounds gross...try following this one instead:

One question for you guys. If i want to get down to 10% and no lower. Is it 100% necessary to go low carb? I usually take in around 200 a day, is that too much for a cut? I feel like i'm getting leaner but i just wanna hear it from you guy's perspective. Since i know you guys have been cutting longer.
There's just no way i can go under 20g of carbs a day, not happening for me.

Yeah brah for real, 8oz egg whites, 2 scoops of protein. I even use ****ty VPX protein and bb.com protein and they still come out great. Just don't cook them on high or for too long. They will be fairly thin and will have the slightest eggy texture but with some sugar/calorie free syrup, you can't beat the macros. Especially if you're low carbin it. They're also very filling.

I answer you since I started my cut around your weight (I was 163lb, now 149lb), it's not necessary but it's the easiest way, low carb diets are the most effective. For me 200g was too much, I tried 0-50g/day it was way too low... I averaged it to 100-120g/day, it comes as oats in the morning or pre-wo, whole wheat or brown rice at lunch and 1 piece of fruit..still was able to lose fat and keep a reasonable strength at the gym

Are you the cheeky kunt that suggested them in the first place? Never been so tempted to neg in my life bro fukkkk you made me waste all that protein what you think money grows on trees or something??
There are only TWO ingredients. I cooked them on low-medium heat. There is no possible way to mess this up, it just taste like ass.
I used that Costco shiet protein but still that is no excuse for how horrible it tasted. First time in years that I actually throw food away.
DONT FUKKING DO IT BRO
God invented macros so that we can hit them however we want. Eat some real pancakes and then have some delicious sludge/ make an omelette with shredded cheese out of all those egg whites to hit your protein goals. All this fake "protein-whatever" food is terrible, with the exception of the infamous nutrition section "Protein Cheesecake" which I've yet to try.
