How much protein when bulking ?

Is 1.2g of protein per pound of bodyweight a good figure for how much protein or should I up it to around 1.4/5g of protein ?

Go to Nutrition section, read sticky named Calculating Macros. Go through it, and you will get what you want.

whether bulking or cutting. My protein intake tends to stay aroudn the same, the biggest difference would be my carb intake that changes significantly.

My carbs would go from 30-40% of my diet to 40-60% of my diet.
