COD is meh but Source is legit. Tired of old school 1.6 players trashing it. YES 1.6 does reg better but source is an excellent game, much smoother and cleaner. Easier to see WTF is going on. Yes I've played them both for a very long time.

That's probably the worst pro-source argument you could come up with. First of all, its the other way around, cs1.6 has much smoother/cleaner textures. Pretty much the only reasons why source ever got popular is because:
- the tournaments back in the days dropped cs1.6 for source and all the fanboys followed(which ofcourse failed because the gameplay is nowhere near comparable)
- it came for free with HL2
Source flopped hardcore everywhere outside the us and the wait for promod/cs2 began.

The main thing that csgo beta testers want to see changed is the things they implemented from source: bad recoil patterns, crappy map design with just useless crap all over the place like barrels, bad reg.

I agree with you on the barrels and the reg. I'm pretty used to the recoil now but I understand. However I don't think 1.6 is cleaner at all. Like comparing Mario1 to Mario3.
