Hi, does anybody have statistics for the 300 yard shuttle run. I can't find any data. The only site I have seen says 55 to 60 seconds for me and 65 to 70 for women.
Thanks.

Cos I love statistics.
Only joking. I'm training a couple of amateur soccer players and would like to be able to tell them how they compare. Obviously, the most important thing is that their times improve, but if they knew what was average for their sport, it would give them something to aim for. For instance, if you knew you needed to knock 10 seconds off your current time, you'd know that you've got a fair old challenge and you could set out a reasonable timeframe by which you should have achieved it.***Irish Misc Crew***

55 seconds to run 300 yards seems like a terrible time.
Edit: my bad, just realized the shuttle part lol. I'm assuming you found the number on brianmac.co.uk. I've used this site before and it's pretty accurate with most things. I would say amateur soccer players would be less than 55 secs tho. I found this link here, http://web.wm.edu/speedstrength/Exer...%20shuttle.pdf Which is close to what the website says.Last edited by Smorgasbord; 05-19-2012 at 07:37 PM.
