    i switch it up from time to time, for squats i go heavy, and for isolations i go higher reps.

    yeah I do both. One week will be like 4 or 5 exercises of 5 reps. Mainly Compounds. The Next week ill do lighter, going for around 12 reps, still doing compounds, but add maybe leg extensions and curls

    For developing a balanced, big strong set of legs, switch between both. I personally hate doing higher reps for legs, but every one in a while its beneficial to change things up.

    Studies have found that very high rep workouts attain the same hypertrophy as low rep heavy weight ones. Im not sure about this. I think they did it on quad extensions with like sets of 50,75, and 100 reps. I know i read this somewhere but dont know the validity of it.

    That study only examined protein synthesis, NOT protein accretion or markers of body comp. Still neat though.

    neither. it's about finding that middle ground. i go heavy on legs though.

    i highly suggest you take a look at Llayne Norton's PHAT routine. gives you the best of both worlds
