290 was slightly above my planned opener but nothing too difficult. So I really focused on holding it at the top, having a clean pause and holding it at the top again. Everything felt pretty good. Plan is to go heavy tng bench tomorrow and heavy 2 board on thurs for some last bit overload.1372 @ 205

Good Luck at the meet......Ive been following along.
BTW.....what protocol are you following for Deadlift? I just ran the full nine weeks of the Generalized Intermediate Program and am now reloading with a few changes. I am considering Mark Robb's approach to Deadlifting singles and am also considering Cluster sets.

Thanks. I threw in some percentage based rep work on competition deadlift for my first 5 weeks of this block. Then I switched to percentage based singles on competition deadlift using the SSPT Deadlift Table for my final 3 weeks. All my accessory deadlift work was auto-regulated using varied rep and RPE protocols.
