Dude I don't even know what kind of surgeries everyone is having with little down time. I was in a sling for a few months before I got to get therapy.

These days they try not to delay it unless absolutely necessary, because then the chances of the shoulder freezing increase, and gives a whole other (potentially serious) issue to deal with once you start PT.

This. I had a buddy not do anything for 6 weeks. He is still paying for it. All muscle lost, bone spurs, etc...

I listened to my doc and have gotten started.

The pain level right now is less than pre op.

Although my ROM isn't back, I'm still happy about it so far.

I understand that, but the pain of my surgery was beyond what I could handle with meds and with keeping myself down.

I had 5 total repairs done in my surgery. Including a bankart repair!!!

Not everyone can be a tough guy!! lol

Saw the surgeon today, he named everything off................... I still don't know what all he did.. hahahaha

well ummmmm sort of? lol. From November to now I've gone from 220 to 207, so it's slow going, but I'm getting there. Last few weeks have been horrible for eating, sleeping, working out. Job has been owning my life. If it's an upside, at least my eating issues have been not consuming enough. Sure, still not a good thing, but I'd rather have 1000 cal days than 5000 cal days.
