I've been contemplating making this thread for the past 2 days since I found out she sort of cheated on me. We've only been together about 4 months (in a couple days) but I had to leave town for a overnight shift and she went out with the girls. Her friends are huge whores imo and they bring out her worst qualities -- not that she has many -- and somehow they got her drunk enough to perform oral on a fellow clubgoer in a man's bathroom stall. When I got back home, I went up to her as she was sleeping in our bed (she moved in after domestic abuse at home) and kissed her on the lips and something sticky was on them. I woke her up and confronted her and she started crying and admitted on the spot she did it after getting drunk with the girls. She promised she'd never do it again.

Now here's the dilemma...should I stick it out with her? I know *most* girls are whores, but she came clean with me and I respect that. The funny thing is I'd been talking with my gay best friend (whose part of "their circle") about possibly proposing to her...she's wife material outside of that one indescretion and I'd hate to start the search over.

*why I'm hesitant on quitting this relationship*
1. She's studying to become a general practitioner.
2. She wants at least 5 kids (my own basketball team?)
3. My mom and her are really close
4. My brother and her are really close too
5. Has a maltese poodle (maltipoo) just like me and they're BFFs
6. Her family is worth a bit of money as they own a pretty well-known store on Michigan Ave. in downtown Chicago
7. She's smart caring, responsible, physically/mentally/spiritually fit

I realize most on Misc would go crazy with what I wrote above, BUT we're a perfect match pretty much. Plus, I'm about 50% sure I can convince her to let me stray once in exchange for forgiveness on the indiscretion.
