That my oldest son is one the most respectful teenagers, I've had a few people go out of their way to tell me this....NOTHING could make me more proud as a parent and as a person...this is my number 1 job

Looked in the mirror at the end of my cut a few weeks ago and literally thought "wow."
Felt nice to appreciate my hard work.
The 10 or so women that have asked me out so far at the gym don't hurt either. (we have ~4500 active members so it's a small percentage but still made me smile more every day)

LOL Has nothing whatsoever to do with lifting or bodybuilding. One of the Special Education Specialists who comes to our campus told another Third Grade teacher; "If I had a kid in this school, I'd want him to be in Mr. ****'s class. Sometimes they just need a boot up their *%&!" Ha ha My coworker told me, Mrs. ******** really complimented you today! Made me feel pretty good.

Watching the first Captain America movie last year, my 7 y/o daughter turns and says:

My dad telling me that I'm a better parent than he was, that's always stuck with me. My dad did a good job raising us but because he was in the Navy, he was gone a lot.

Ha ha... But I have to admit I'm not sure what is so obvious about that post. It was a female massage therapist!
It's not as obvious as someone posting a thread encouraging men to post their pictures showing their physiques.
Bazinga!
Edit: maybe I should have said masseuse for a female? Headed to google...Last edited by tobymax123; 05-11-2012 at 08:13 PM.

05-11-2012, 11:21 PM #23"It doesn't matter what exercise you do, but man was made to move, to eat sparingly, to work hard and to screw as much as he can manage. Do all that, and you will look as good as your genes will let you, be content as the arseholes around you will allow, and maybe get a few screws. The particular virtues of weight training are in the discipline it brings to both mind and body, and, if you do it right, it will make you look good naked and do well what you got your clothes off to do." Most frequent compliment (usually from other guys at the gym when they find out how old I am): Hope I look 1/2 as good as you once I reach your age (if I live that long).
Inactivity Kills!!!
My journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=140991491 Age is NOT an acceptable excuse.

The funny thing is 99% of the 30 year olds out there don't have your physique either.
The best for me was a couple of years ago my grandfather asked me if I still worked out when I saw him at Christmas. 89 years old and pulling the "do you even lift" card on me. My family is rife with ball-busters."I'm a street walking cheetah with a heart full of napalm." -Iggy and The Stooges

Not much at all fitness related. A lot of people have said I've lost weight. I didn't think I was that fat before - and they all deny it - but I must have been. Only one person has ever said anything that even implied I've been working out - a co-worker whom I hadn't seen in a few months and who said (after, "gee, you've lost weight!") "you look......'toned'" and made a V-shape with her hands. Maybe in another year of busting my *ss I'll actually look like I work out. No one will ever mistake me for a bodybuilder, that's for sure!
When my mother died, my brother and I were living at the hospital for two weeks, and the nurses told my aunt how impressed they were, since "sons never do that."
Maybe he loved it on principle?
Heck, I'd be happy to look half as good as you when I'm 20 years younger!
It's tough being a good parent - no better compliment IMO. I'm always wanting to rep LBM and I'm always on spread!Peace: Lift Long and Prosper!
Alamagan Dågan - and proud of it!

Weight lifting related:
Not sure if this is a direct compliment, necessarily. But, there's a guy at my gym...he's probably in his late 60's. He's taken an interest in my benching. Has given me tips on increasing my lifts, form, etc. Tells me when I'm doing a good job. Sort of has become a mentor of sorts, without me asking him. He knows I'm working hard. I have found that to be the best 'compliment,' as of late.
General compliment:
People who know me, tell me I'm a great mom.
I think I just got lucky, having amazing kids.
