Am i eating enough?
I did my usually everyday diet on my fitnesspal and below r the results i got:
Calories = 2,958g
Carbs = 381g
Fats = 71g
Protein = 195g
Now i now there not 100% accurate but if i was to go off those results, and i work in an office so im not doing a hard laboured job through the day where im burning loads of carloies....would u say im taking in the right amount of each to bulk up?
Thanks

Bulking help...eating enough

hey mate, near 3k cals is usually enough for an average person to bulk on, but every body (as in each body lol) is different, each has a different genetic predisposition to building mass etc. how much activity u do a day, frequency/volume/intensity of your workouts, all has something to do with how much ull gain.
basically, calories and macros cant really tell you if youre gonna bulk up or not. do the scales go up? do you look/feel bigger? thats how you'll know
whats the mirror saying bro?You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough...

Thanks for your help, yeah i look asif im slowly gaining weight/muscle mass (abit of both) so i suppose i shouldnt really be asking if i can see results & i am feeling alot stronger...lol
just wondering if i am taking in too much carbs/compared to my protein intake or anything like tht...and to be honest i am eating carbs at around 7/8pm which ppl say you shudnt as it will store as fat, i fink work at 5 so its 5.15pm by the time i start in the gym...finish around 6pm/6:15pm - have protein shake and around 1 hour after workout ill eat...so maybe tht is gaining a little more fat than i need perhaps?
what you rekon mate

i think your macros are dam near perfect in all honesty. i personally dont mind taking in carbs after 7, all the broscience that you will gain excess fat is a bit over dramatised. your body will use the carbs while you sleep, did a study at uni (i do exercise and sport science) where we studied metabolic rates while sleeping, and when in REM sleep (rapid eye movement, deep sleeep) your metabolism often increases. so dont worry too much about that
if you're seeing good strenght and size gains but dont think youre gaining excess fat, stick with it.You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough...
