I think with Mayo off the team he'll be better. As I've stated 100 times before on this forum Mayo is the odd man out.

He's an empty stats "scorer" a la Richard Jefferson.

Rudy's not exactly good at anything but dunking, but if you play him a lot of minutes he'll put up maybe 20 Points and nobody cares that he's bad for team synergy in the half court. All he wants is to score the ball and look off his teammates and that takes away from everyone else on the team.

With the way the Clippers rotations work, Mayo shouldn't have to be out there trying to guard CP3 when he could guard someone like Williams or Foye which are much easier tasks.

Pondexter can't guard CP3. If you put him out there in Game 6 you'll see him exploited.

The Clippers offense was terrible with spacing tonight and Griffin was a non-factor.

I saw a lot of improvement from Rudy this game. Yes he airballed a 3 and had a stupid turnover or two, but he was driving in the lane more and toned down on the stupid stuff.

Rudy is nowhere near the type of player Melo is outside of being a go-to guy in the clutch.

Rudy can make some tough shots, all Carmelo makes is tough shots.

If you swapped Rudy Gay with Carmelo Anthony, Memphis would be the favorite in the West over OKC.

I'm kinda surprised To hear a Griz fan say this. The Griz aren't my number one team (heat fan) ( long before Lebron) But I watch them because they are the hometown team and I think he gives them exactly what they need off the bench. A perimeter scorer. He and zbo play well together because of the in and out game.
