whatever results your doc gives you are better than anything anyone can tell you here. he's doing diagnostic tests to see if anything is going on. but if it only happens at night, have you looked at what you're eating at night?
i second what wp said.

i don't believe in iifym (for physique purposes, yes, but for health and wellness, no), but i do believe you should seriously love every single thing you eat.

Bulking
Those symptoms are very common. It could be something in your healthy diet like gluten, dairy, or too much fiber. Those allergy tests will not tell you if you have an intolerance. The first thing I'd do is stay away from all forms of milk protein. See what happens.

i had the same problem and had an upper endoscopy done... all that that found was acid inflammation. you could be having heartburn from the foods you're eating even if they're healthy. heartburn can cause bloating and stomach irritation. sometimes i'll have a flare-up and have to cut out certain foods for awhile (it doesn't mean you're allergic, you're just eating too many acidic foods). try cutting out caffeine (coffee and tea), citrus fruits, acidic veggies like tomatoes and onions, black pepper, and spicy food. also, don't eat large meals or meals with a lot of fat because that can start a flare-up because your stomach has to produce extra acid to process it all. right now i'm actually having some issues so i'm avoiding all these things until the end of the weekend. also, if you're eating healthy fats try splitting it up so the fat load isn't so high, which can be a trigger (for example, instead of having a 1/4 cup serving of nuts in one sitting cut it in half or in thirds to have throughout the day).
try it out for a couple of days and see if it helps. you can incorporate everything back in, but don't go overboard if you find it still makes you sick. of course, i'm no expert, just pulling from experience. see what your doctor says.

Will try this. I'm having similar issues, but not all the time. I have no clue where it comes from, tests are fine... It's annoying :/

Do you keep track of what you eat? Look at what you're eating and see if there's a common denomonator each night you feel like crap. If there's several, try eliminating one at a time for a week at a time to see if you start to feel better if your doc doesn't have any solid answers for you.

Try and get hold of intestinew (tabs or drink). It's great. My BF used to wake up feeling sick each morning until he started taking this. No side affects. Couple it with a good dose of friendly bacteria to restore and you might find that's all it takes - a cleanse and a rebalance. Intestinew contains ginger

I have similar problems when I eat/drink things with artificial sweetners. Are you eating any sucralose? Aspartame? lots of whey protein mixes have them, i have since switched to one with stevia and find it much easier on my gut....just a though

Oh, yes!!
I had the same exact problems a while back. I had tests up the wazoo (no pun)!!! Was told nothing was wrong and got no help from professionals. From trial and error I figured out that eating smaller meals was a good solution for me. This alleviated the gas and bloating and made me feel much more comfortable. I totally agree, that it is a very frustrating situation. As Kricket 09 mentioned, artificial sweeteners and sucralose products can cause major bloating. Hope that helps and just my 2 cents.
It doesn't have to be easy, just possible.

I had been having stomach issues, and I think mine was from taking cell tech though, I was just taking one scoop after my work outs with glutamine, but had crazy intestinal bloating, and just very uncomfortable for the rest of the day, even with half a serving. Though this is my first day (since I've been on my new plan, which is 2 weeks, no cheat meals, certain ratio's of carbs and fats etc) that I have had a banana after my workout with a protein shake, so stomach isn't 100 percent, but feeling much better then it was when taking the other supplement!! Though it very much just be trial and error with your new diet! hope all works out!!!

I do - there was whole thread we had going sometime back. After seeing my GI doc many times and having a slew of tests, I gave up. For me I think it's something hormonal and something I am just going to live with. I feel a sense of fullness when I have barely eaten and have stomach distention.

Melina, don't give up! I think you are talking about my thread awhile back. I ended up going back to my holistic MD about 2 weeks ago bc I was having some symptoms again. She was telling me that she thinks I might have low stomach acid so we did a test with Betaine HCL and pepsin. I take 1 pill before I eat a protein meal and if I get heartburn then the acid level is fine and that is not the problem. If I don't get heartburn after 1 pill, I take 2 before the next protein meal and if I still don't get heartburn, I take 3 before the next protein meal. I got heartburn after 3 pills so now my dosage is 2 before each protein meal. This is supposed to train my gut to produce more acid so that I can digest my food and hopefully, I won't have to be on the digestive enzymes anymore after. So far, I am feeling better and have less distention and bloating; only time will tell. Also, I stay away from all dairy and eggs. We initially thought I was gluten intolerant but it was eggs and dairy. I am a work in progress but I won't give up until I feel better and my doctor is so great. Some people don't believe in holistic medicine but it doesn't hurt to try other avenues!
