First of all a lot of petty crimes young people commit are wiped off their record eventually. And no, if you rob a bank, you should have that kept on your permanent record and it should affect your employment.

Don't forget the people born unintelligent bro. Inb4 OP hits us with "survival of the fittest."
Because humans with morals act like animals in the wild, right?

What kind of help are you suggesting? Bad decisions should not be rewarded, and if they were it would just breed more bad decisions.
I think if an ex con truly reformed himself and worked his ass off, he will make a nice liing for himself, they don't need help if they truly want to succeed.

Sometimes I think we should teach economics in school so Liberals (in the modern sense) can learn how foolish they are then I remember the government runs the schools.

I agree, i'm just saying that as unfortunate as it may be a lot of young people have this idealistic mindset. free this and gimme that bs not knowing that at the root someone has to pay for it. It's just ignorance on their part, what can you do but try to educate them. Unless its willful ignorance in which case they can get ****ed and hopefully they get a good hard slap of reality.

When I was an undergrad my writing professor (whom to this day I believed was a closet racist and misogynist) asked the class "why do black activists believe that welfare is the 'new slave-master' of the African-American community?" I raised my hand and said "I guess because it keeps them from progressing out of poverty since they lose an incentive to work when they have a guaranteed income every month." He then walked up to me and gave me a high five. (deadly srs)
It was common for him to go off on tangents about women, liberals, minority groups particularly the black community, etc...

You can be of low intelligence and still hold a high paying job. I know plenty of dumb people who make crazy money in construction or landscaping. You don't need to have a college education to make some money.

No limits.
From my experience in debating with mainline liberals, they are generally well meaning but don't look at the bigger picture. They would say that we need to help poor people by taxing the rich, which is a very A to B type solution (linear/one dimensional). They are all for government-funded social programs, but not looking at the debt and massive bureaucracy (useless services) created by them—which ultimately destroys buying power and avg wealth as well as creates government dependance.
I'd say I'm libertarian leaning.

I'm not going to even waste my time debating with you bro, i'm 5 years younger than you and you're nowhere near as clued up about politics as me. You deflect every single question that's thrown at you with an accusation.

Honestly, if I were a white collar employee who lost my job tomorrow, I would immediately retrain to become skilled in blue-collar work like manufacturing. there is HIGH demand for manufacturing jobs right now and I read an article on CNN saying you could make 100k in a few years. You can't say that about probbly 90% of white collar jobs.
This socialist movement we are experiencing in the US - I don't understand it. Get off your ass and get a job.

The beauty of the free market is specialization you can be a complete moron at 99.9% of the stuff you do but as long as your good at that .1% you can be very rich or successful.

In my personal experience conservatives feel that liberals are wrong, but liberals think that conservatives are evil.

Considering it is one of the most left-leaning news sources available, I will take it as candor when speaking positively of capitalism.

This
We have a crisis in America where all our handymen are basically dieing out. In 10 to 20 years we'll have a crazy shortage of plumbers, electricians, carpenters, ect. yet all these unemployed people are sitting on their ass collecting checks and blaming everyone for their misfortunes instead of taking life in their own hands and learning a trade.
