    Cutting questions

Can a high protein, decent carb and low fat nutritious diet alone with proper low volume high intensity lifting program aid fat loss during a cutting phase with out cardio?

I always thought that when you cant handle going lower on the low calorie diet you can compensate with cardio instead to burn off the excess you ate.

Currently at 162, 5'6 and cutting to 10%

    maintenance is 2582

eating around 2200 calories for a good cut.

275 gram protien, 180 gram carbs and 40 gram fats. <- this is calculated by one of greg plitts personal cutting formulas. I would give up a toe to have his physique.

Yes if you eat below your maintenance you will lose. Cardio does help though. Very good for your heart as well.

Why in the world would you want to eat a diet low in fat, but "decent carb"?
