    dumbbell bench press

Why does it seem like everyone only goes until their arms are at a 90 degree angle with dumbbells...? isnt that like a half barbell benchpress where you only lower it to about a foot off your chest? I see this all the time in my gym as if its just "how its done"

Does anyone go all the way down to their chest level anymore? does anyone advocate going to a 90 degree, i think you can lift much much more weight if you only drop it to 90 degrees... but to me it just doesnt seem like a full workout, its like a half squat isnt it?

I perform full range with DB press.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

I go until I feel a gnarly stretch in my pecs.
