What do you do?
I really wanted burgers for lunch, but buns were moldy. Tearin' off the mold and eating anyway. Y'all?

Thing is the spores from that mold are already throughout the loaf by the time it's big enough to see on a slice. You eat mold all the time without even knowing it. How many cheeses are what they are because of mold content? Gorogonzola, Roquefort, bleu... During WWII, Russian soldiers ate moldy bread to fight infections because they didn't have access to penicillin. There was even a scientist during the Black Plague who ate moldy bread mixed in a cup of warm water and yeast to fight the infection st the first signs of the disease and lived.
Food mold gets a really bad rap. It's not like you're licking the walls in the basement."Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1
Also, taxation is theft.

Naw, just haven't been to the store in a minute.
Would do, but I don't drive, so if my wife is out, I eat what's here or nothing.
This has happened to me more than once.
so you're the old dude in the baby pool?
Does that work? SRS... not so SRS...
This was my thought too.
Agreed, original beer made by Egyptions 4000 BC was made with yeast that had mold on it. People drank it because they didn't get sick, well, and other reasons, like making unwashed hairy chicks look hot....B: 285
