Ok Brahs , the other day I was coming through neighboring town and I saw a shop called eat like it's 10000 B.C or something to that effect that only sold dried red meats and berries. and in short was amazing.
The Biltong was made in these massive dehydrators at the side of the shop and it was pretty cheap in contrast to any jerky I've ever bought , it was like 150g for 5 euro.
So I got it and ate it all.
And you know what.
It was great.
And I was all
But can someone aware me on the integral differences between Jerky and it and whether at that price would it be viable as something to eat over the course of a day to supplement protein. ( I can't stomach shakes.)

I'd be looking to make my own if it was worth my while , for apparently we're talking about 45g of protein per 100g.
Buying from the shop would cost an arm and a leg , however for a kg of meat suitable it would cost about 8 euro I think.
So might be viable..
But Shakes are nearly impossible for me , for some reason the taste of any whey product makes me gag , and if I do manage to swallow it without spewing well it really doesn't agree with my stomach.***Irish Misc Crew***

Getting a big chunk of your protein from jerky?
Would that not contain a fukload of sodium??

On keto at the moment...fukking love the stuff.
I usually snack on 50g a day, has about 100cals, 23g of protein
Plus it comes in different flavours (smoked, garlic, chilli, black pepper etc).
@ UK brahs: Selfridges does really good biltong for good value too, get the non-organic biltong...I noticed the organic stuff is quite fatty. Some local South African butchers sell it too.*mid-20s and find the misc generally boring/immature now crew*

I have a few buddies from South Africa and they've always been bugging me about how there's a lot of creatine in biltong, so I looked online and did some research, and it looks like it's legit.
I eat that stuff all the time, but it can get expensive. I mean, who the hell wants to pay £40+ per kg?!?!? I was thinking of making it myself, but then my house would smell like meat and I'm too lazy to be honest. I found this company named "Just Eat Biltong" and so far they're the cheapest in the UK. Their biltong's decent too. Not full of ****. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
