Exclamation Does p90x's Ab Ripper X actually work?

My abs are probably the weakest point in my upper body and aren't even visible with low bodyfat. My friend has a copy of p90x so i thought i might give it a shot. Any testimonies?

I hit the gym like most people however, I incorporate the p90x ab workout for my core/abs. It will be extremely difficult for you to complete for the first while even doing half the reps demonstrated.

It is worth it and you will get that mid section up to snuff quick man. Of note: your mid section will be sore for days for the first little bit.
    Enjoy.

That depends on what kind of results you're expecting. If by does it work you mean does it give you a 6 pack, then no it doesn't really work. If you mean does it make your core stronger, then yes it does work.

Really, the only thing that will tighten up your mid section is a good diet. Combine a good diet and the p90x program and you'd probably tighten up.

^ I politely disagree with you broski.

Although I only use the p90x ab workout out of the program, it defiantly will shred the heck out of someones midseciton. Some people cannot get a '6 pack' but rather a 5er or a 4 pack (genetically speaking).

I agree diet will be a factor in making sure your not going to have a slab of fat covering up your hard work however, if you don't have the mid section to begin with than a good diet won't reveal much.

If all you want to really do is be big....yes I agree with this.

If you want to be in shape, healthy, have great balance, flexibility. No...just about everything is beneficial. And will kick your ass. Never thought I would say this but I even have respect for Yoga now.....

P90X so that you can get your abs strong.

Then when you have enough ab strength to do Hanging Leg Raises, Tic Tocs(a.k.a Hanging windshield wipers, a.k.a dragonwings) and the ab roller.

Once you have enough strength to do the exercises I just named your abs will be crazy like a crazy bish.
