Marius Dohne will retire after the 2012 season

"Its a sad day for me as I announce that after the 2012 bodybuilding season, I will be RETIRING from competitive bodybuilding. Its obviously my goal to end my career with another Pro win and a top 10 feature at the Mr. Olympia. After this season my focus will be 100% on Dohne Nutrition and on building a stable life for my gorgeous son Jett. Today with the help of my trainer George Farah I start my diet for Tampa where I will be defending my title of last year. I hope I have your full support SA and my other supporters around the world as I give it one last BANG on the pro scene. Make sure to read the full story in next issue of Muscle Evolution Magazine."

What I would like to know is:

Didn't God and Farah heal him?
If the risk is so high, why do another full season?

That's awful news, he had a lot of potential and already an amazing physique. I guess this stems from his kidney issues?

If he's got Kidney issues, is it wise to continue to use celtech? Isn't your health more important than winning some competition?

Hoping he'd overcome his kidney issues?

Kidney issues just go one way! Down... You don't come back from that, look at Tom Prince, Flex, Don Long etc daily dialysis and/or transplants. Luke Wood, last year died after his body rejected a transplant.

Kidney issues are very serious, you want to hold on to what functionality they have while you can! The longer you're not on dialysis the better. Sure dialysis and transplants keep you alive but never as good and as long as you could of lived. And a lot less fun!

Exacty, i was questioning whether he was infact clinically insane. He came off the brink of kidney failiure at 26 yrs old!!!!! He will probably never have full kidney function again, hes even crazy for competing for the Tampa!! he could have been a top5 threat for sure if his kidneys were 100% operational.

You have to be an idiot not to admit that celtech increases your chnaces of kidney issues by a lot. If I were him I'd give it up now and for the sake of his health and family.

You have to be an idiot not to admit that celtech increases your chnaces of kidney issues by a lot. If I were him I'd give it up now and for the sake of his health and family.
    Answer his question.

Do you think he is not aware of the correlation between celltech and kidney-liver damage

I am sure he's aware and he's been advised by his doc to stop immediately. The question is why is he continuing to take them? Yeah the man has a great physique but it's not like he's going to win Mr Olympia. Even if he was I still think health is better than winning a title.
