    Cool Help to stay on eating Plan

    My goal is to put on Mass but cut fat at same time. I dont have a lot of money to spend on food and supp's. My weight is 215. My plan is = pro=266, carbs = 430 fat =150, cals =3000-3200 a day. I eat four meals of chicken 5oz's and yams or rice and a veg with each. I take a mass up a shake in morning and at before bed. I need help to stay on my diet. I start out great but I always have family events that come up. Can anyone help with this problem? I hope this was the spot to post this.

    Not seeing the issue...Fit these events into your macros. Also stop wasting money on mass shakes. They are a scam. Just blend whey, oats, peanut butter. Easy way to get calories and a lot cheaper.

    Don't follow a meal plan.

    Just make sure you hit your macro minimums and meet your caloric goal.

    I never found the appeal of a mass gaining shake. Why would you want to drink thousands of calories. The flavor is probably terrible and drinking your calories is not going to fill you up like eating whole foods. Oats, chocolate protein powder, and natural peanut butter > mass gain shake

    OP, you want to put on mass and lose fat at the same time? They are opposite processes for the most part. I think you should cut or bulk and go from there.

    Yeah, I agree with the guys above. Although shakes can be loaded with nutrients, nothing beats real foods that are good for you.
