P90X vs. Tapout XT?

I am most likely starting P90X in 4 days after I get out of school. I saw a commercial though about Tapout XT and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. How does it compare against P90X? I will probably still do P90X either way, but I'm still curious about Tapout XT since you can't really believe what you see from the typical commercial..

P90X is if you're a beginner or if you follow the nutrition guide, if you want to cut. Do P90X if you're one of those.
Tapout XT is if you REALLY want to cut. I supplement it with weight training and my own fight training. Tapout implements "MMA-style training" So if you're not familiar with some of the punching/striking moves, it'll take some time getting used to. Suprisingly, i actually kinda like Tapout XT, definitely not anything extreme or special, but it's good.
Or just go to Scooby's site and do the beginner workout. LOL (srs though) Scooby's good if you're a beginner, although his nutritional advice is.... questionable

I started doing TAPOUT XT, in order to burn fat and get shredded. I already have power from doing HIT. P90x, from what I have heard, works with building muscle with the use of muscle confusion. Tapout is cardio based. I have heard that both are good. It all depends on your goal. Like mentioned, I do HIT, so the power is there. I want to get shredded, as I combine the two (HIT and Tapout). Truthfully, a lot on P90X, I can do on my own. The MMA based workouts is what interested me.

How about joining a gym and then getting on an actual beginner bodybuilding program?
